So when the sunlit ground is hot it heats air and it rises and meet with the colder air a meter or so up and becomes a chaotic turbulent mix of different temperature air. The light being refracted when passing trough this mess causes a hazing effect.<br /><br />On venus there is very little difference in temperature. Everything is about the same kind of crazy hot.
